What we collect
When you sign in with Google or Discord, we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We store the stories, photos, videos and music you add. We also collect basic usage data, like pages visited and device type, to improve the app.
Payments
Paddle processes all payments. We never see or store your card details. Paddle shares your email, country and order details with us so we can unlock your story.
How we use it
Only to sign you in, save and show your stories, process payments, answer support requests and improve the app. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.
Google and Discord data
We only request your basic profile (name, email and picture) and use it only to create and identify your account. Bubbles' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Who can see it
Anyone with your share link (and password, if you set one) can view that story. We also rely on trusted providers to run the app: Paddle (payments), Neon (database), cloud file storage (photos and videos), PostHog (analytics), and Google and Discord (sign-in). They only process data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Stories stay for at least 5 years from the day they were created, unless you delete them sooner. Account data stays until you delete your account. Paddle keeps payment records as required by law.
Your choices
You can delete any story yourself. To see, fix or delete all your data, including your account, email us and we'll handle it within 30 days.
Children
Bubbles is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
